My Sin and Shame
April 30, 2016
Scripture
He [God the Father] made Him [Christ the Son] who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
~2 Corinthians 5:21, NASB
Quote
I’ll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon the cross.
~Tim Hughes
Can you imagine someone loving you so deeply and completely that they are willing to take your sin and shame, and not just yours but that of the every human being. This includes perverts, pedophiles, murderers, rapist, liars, abortionists and even arrogant preachers.
If there is one thing that could get me down and keep me down, it would be the weight of my sin, guilt and shame. I have done some low down despicable things. There are some sins that I have confessed only to God. One of the reasons I long for heaven is to be totally separated from all my sin and shame. The only reason I am getting to go to heaven is Jesus willingness to become my sin and bear my shame in His own body on the cross. Jesus made it possible for me to become righteous like Him. How could I not love Him!
- Joe David and I attended the COLS of Myrtle “Millie” Smith yesterday. Although I did not know Mrs. Smith, I know her children and grandchildren. Some of you might remember Judy Payne {Jan Fields sister-in-law}. Judy donated $6,000 on our first church van. I don’t think I will ever forget the Wednesday morning when she called. Millie Smith was Judy’s mom. Judy has two brothers, Alvis and Randall. Alvis was our neighbor on Craze Road back in the 90’s. I know all of you remember Matt and Anna Brown: both faithfully attended DBC back in their high school days. I got to disciple Matt one on one. Millie was Matt’s grandmother. Judy stayed single after Roy’s accidental death until her children were grown, then the LORD gave her a second good man to love and protect her, his name is Bill Welch. Both Judy and Bill are active in church and love Jesus. I got to visit with Matt just a few minutes after the service and I got to meet his wife. Matt is a fine young man. Most of you remember the night Tray, John and Matt wrecked on 36. It is a miracle that these boys survived.
- I saw Randy Lewis last evening at Ironman. He just finished another round of chemo and was feeling weak but still going. He said he had gained two pounds. Everyone loves Randy. He wants us to continue praying for him which we will do.
- I wake up in a new world practically every day. I generally make my plans the night before but sometimes they get changed. Harold and I were going to work on my old Ford tractor today but I’ve had to alter my plans. I have some hard visits to make and I have to get ready for Sunday. If you want to say a short prayer for me, I have no objections.

Eternity
February 17, 2016
Scripture
He {God} has also set eternity in their hearts.
~Ecclesiastes 3:11, NASB
Quote
In deaths presence, we are all children with questions.
~William Franklin Graham
My son travels quite a bit and his children are small. Any time they see him packing, there are questions: where are you going? Why can’t we go with you? When are you coming back? Who is going to stay with us? While her dad is away, Josie can focus on other things and stay busy but Ty is preoccupied with his father’s absence. His father’s return in paramount to Ty, there is nothing bigger in his mind. I think Dr. Graham is right, in death’s presence we all have the questions of a child.
The disciples were children, Jesus even referred to them as children {John 13}…”Dear children, I will be with you only a little longer. And as I told the Jewish leaders, you will search for Me, but you can’t come where I am going.” This was not good news to this room filled with young men: most likely Peter is the only one over 20. These guys had their hearts set on an earthly kingdom with Jesus as the King. They had discussed cabin level positions once the kingdom was in place. Little by little, Jesus dashed their hopes. He wanted them to focus on something bigger, much bigger. Folks, we are not going to rule Israel or the world, we are going to rule the universe, all of creation. We will judge angels. Isn’t it strange how we settle for the insignificant and the trivial when Jesus wants us to have so much more.
By the way, little kids grow up to be big kids and then they do the traveling and mom and dad await their return. I can’t tell you what a joy it was to have all of our children and grandchildren under one roof, safe and sound, this past Christmas. How much more will our heavenly Father rejoice when we are all gathered home?
P.S. If you have Jesus in your heart, you will have a longing for home that gets more intense with each passing year. It’s God GPS system in our hearts.
- PTL, yesterday was phone calls and meetings. It looks like retiring is going to be a full time job. I did get some good news and I give Jesus praise and glory for it!
- We do have some special things coming up. April 3 is Senior Adult Day and our special guest are John and Joye Tucker. They will be with us in the morning service.
- On May 15th, which seems like a long way off, we have Kenny Evans from Pigeon Forge, Tn. Kenny is a singer/entertainer who has a solid testimony. He comes highly recommended. I was told that Seniors would love him.
- We are going to start baptizing again this Sunday LORD willing. Our Baptistery leaks but we have a plan.
Rejoice

Scripture
Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell there.
~Revelation 12:12, ERV
Quote
The things that I long to be free of–guilt, shame, fear, greed, lust, impurity–are all related to sin.
~Ya’akov
Therefore is a connecting word. To understand verse 12, you have to read the verses prior: Then there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon (devil) and his angels. And the dragon lost the battle, and he and his angels were forced out of heaven. This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.
Did you catch that: the devil has been evicted from heaven, he was forced out and thrown down. The good news is; no devil in heaven. The bad news is that he was cast down to earth and he came here in a rage. He is angry at God for evicting him from heaven. He has lost the battle in heaven and he lacks the power to enter into the presence of God. He cannot touch God so he goes after God’s children here on earth. This is not a reason to fear, he cannot get to you without going through Jesus.
The ancient serpent, the accuser of the brethren, the adversary, the deceiver of the nations has brought the fight to this world because he could not conquer heaven. He vents his anger toward the Church, the body of Christ. He spews out a river of venomous propaganda in an effort to destroy the body of Christ. He is angry, desperate and losing power. In other words, eventually, he will fizzle out. His best days are behind him while our best days lie ahead.
- WOW! The LORD is good, another profession of faith. Our God is an awesome God.
- I went with June’s class yesterday {Senior Adult Ladies} to Greenbrier for an evening meal and had a very good time. I think we had nine. During the meal, Lou said to me, “That was a good service this morning. I especially liked Brad Paisley singing the Old Rugged Cross.” I think every woman at the table echoed her sentiments. I am here to tell you, the Senior Adult women like Brad Paisley: we are going to have to have him back.
- Edith Sandlin has surgery in Huntsville today.
- Continue to pray for Gary Garner, Buford Burgess, Heath Roberts, Kane Hogan and Kerri Callahan.
- My car read 45 degrees [yesterday], the sign out front concurred and the computer said 45 but that was the coldest 45 degrees I have ever felt. It felt like 25* to me. Four more Sundays until the time change and six until Spring.
No Football In Heaven
November 30, 2015
Scripture
And the ONE sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!”
~Revelation 21:5, NLT
Quote
“I have perfect assurance, there will be no football in heaven.”
~Ya’akov
One of the reasons the Jews rejected Jesus is that He was new, fresh, unique and not like everyone else. He is preparing for us a place where we will be in His visible presence, every moment. We know very little about the place but we do know that it will be new, all new, there will be no factions, division, or competition. I bet there was tears from many fans Saturday and Sunday over football and there will not be tears in heaven. I had to comment on football in a daily devotional but I’m going to take some liberties today.
- I was not shocked by the score of Iron Bowl, I was rather sure it would be a dog fight. Auburn always gets up for Alabama; they were ready to play and they played hard. The score would have been much closer if they had not dropped the pick-6, they might have even won.
- I was shocked, absolutely shocked that the Alabama kicker had a better game than the Auburn kicker. I would have bet the farm against the odds of that happening. The Auburn boy will probably be drafted in the NFL. It’s been a lot time since an Alabama kicker made it in the NFL.
- The one thing we all can probably agree on is the unpredictably of College Football. I thought STATE would beat Ole Miss. It was not close. I though Michigan would give Ohio State a fit, play close if not win.
- June and many Georgia Fans are heartbroken over the firing of Mark Richt. Former players, the media and many fans are upset with LSU’s administration for the way they have treated Les Miles. The SEC needs Les and coach Richt but both got in trouble because they could not beat Alabama. Should I be fired because I can’t preach as well as some 30,000 other SBC preachers. I do the best I can but I don’t have the gifts and skills of the others.
- You hear people in the sports world say, “You can do it if you want it bad enough.” This is not a true statement, Coach Richt and Miles are doing their best. I ran track in College and I was the seventh man on the cross country team. Simply stated, I was the low man on the totem pole. There were six faster people in front of me. We had a sprinter from Butler by the name of Royce Martin who could break 10 seconds on the 100 yard dash but he didn’t like to practice and hated distance running which is a part of a sprinter training. One day Coach Franks walked up to me and said, “Bailey, if I could put your heart in Royce, I would have an unbeatable athlete.” I understood what he was saying; I had the desire but I didn’t have the skills. Royce had the skills but didn’t have the desire.
- Bottom line: College football has ceased to be a game, it has become big business.
- Buford Burgess had a fair day yesterday. He need’s to eat and drink more. I wish I could give him a part of my appetite. Keep praying for the miracle.
- Kane was at church yesterday, he is probably going to Huntsville to day for blood. He’s trying to dodge the cool and flu that is going around.
- The LORD is good. His grace is AMAZING. We celebrated another baptism yesterday and I am praying for a baptism each week through the rest of the year. It can happen but not without divine intervention.
- Our band sounded great yesterday: it was good to have Mrs. Linda back, we miss her when she is absent. She and Lance did a duet on one of the offertories. Don’t you appreciate the way David works with our young people. I do! Folks, the LORD was especially good to me yesterday. In my old age, I have a little anxiety about Sundays but His grace was more than sufficient and I want to Praise Him and Thank Him.
- When I saw the parking lot this morning, I thought, “Oh no, we are going to be down today,” but we wound up with a good crowd and two good offerings. We are almost to the 19,000 dollar mark on our Guatemala offering. We have another IMB project after we reach our Guatemala goal.
- Haley Rae will be going to Guatemala in January as a Missionary. What about that DBC! Is this fantastic or what! As soon as we find out her departure date, we will plan her commissioning service.
- Next Sunday we will have our opening and the two offering, then the choir will treat us with some CHRISTMAS MUSIC: then I think Joe David will preach. I don’t have my schedule here at the house.
A PERFECT DAY
- President Ted Cruz and Vice President Marco Rubio are sworn into office.
- In a rare event on inauguration day, Congress convenes for an emergency meeting to repeal the illegal and unconstitutional Socialist healthcare farce known as Obama[don’t]care. The new Director of Health and Social Services Dr. Ben Carson announces that an independent group of healthcare management professionals is hired to handle healthcare services for poor and low income people. They are also assigned the duty of eliminating Medicare and Medicaid fraud. Government’s costs for public healthcare are reduced by 90%. Healthcare insurance premiums for working Americans are reduced by 50%. The move saves billions of taxpayer paid dollars. Healthcare service in the U.S improves 100%.
- Newly appointed department of Homeland Security Chief Donald Trump announces the immediate deployment of Troops to the U.S. Mexico border to control illegal immigration and the immediate deportation of illegals with criminal records or links to terrorist groups. New bio-encrypted Social Security ID’s are required by every American citizen. Birthright is abolished. All immigration from countries that represent a threat to the safety of American citizens is terminated indefinitely. The move saves American taxpayers billions of dollars. Several prisons are closed.
- Newly appointed Secretary of Business and Economic Development Carly Fiorina eliminates more than half of the Government agencies operating under the Obama administration saving taxpayers billions of dollars. Stocks rise 100%.
- Newly appointed Director of Government Finance Rand Paul announces the abolition of the IRS and displays a copy of the new Federal Tax Return form. It consists of one page. The instructions consist of two pages. The Federal Reserve is audited. The move saves American Taxpayers billions of dollars and increases tax revenue.
- Hillary Clinton is in jail, where she belongs. Her cell is directly across from Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton who are serving time for ‘Hate Crimes”. She bitches at them constantly from behind the bars of her cell in what some might call cruel and unusual punishment.
- Bernie Sanders is in the nuthouse, where he belongs. His room is directly across from Nancy Pelosi, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chris Tingle Matthews and Al Franken. They meet for tea every day at ten and discuss the success and benefits of Communism and Socialism throughout the world. They also wonder when the “Mothership” from the planet Insanity is going to pick them up and return them to their home.
- Windows 12 is released. It is designed for humans, doesn’t try to satisfy the needs of every person on the planet, doesn’t require a degree in nuclear physics to operate and looks just like Windows 7 except it is easier to use.
- Barack Insane Obama flees the United States under cover of darkness and returns to his homeland of Kenya before his trial for treason begins. He deplanes on a remote jungle airstrip. It was reported that he was last seen wandering through the jungle singing “Hakuna Matata” with a chimp named Commie.
- Oscar Meyer announces the introduction of a new cholesterol and fat free pepperoni that tastes just like regular pepperoni.
- A committee is not established to determine what is causing global cooling. Billions of taxpayer dollars are saved.
- We go nuclear with ships, trains, and plants and liberals start jumping off of high buildings.
- Dead people are no longer allowed to vote in Chicago, a huge blow for the Democrat Party in the State.
No Place Like Home
November 27, 2015
Scripture
Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your earthly possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home.
~Luke 16:9, NLT
Quote
“He is happiest, be he king or peasant, who finds peace in his home.”
~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
I have lived in many houses, apartments, etc. but in my 66 years I have really had only two homes. While my parents were living, I considered Sardis Springs my home but now my earthy home is in Danville or Rocky Ford, if you want to be technical. A house is made of brick and beams, a home is made by hope and dreams. A house has no eternal significance but home has infinite worth.
Bro. Inman use to say, “Everyone needs three homes, a Christian Home, a Church Home and a Heavenly Home.” Thank God for a Christian home and for a church home but the best is yet to come. I’ve had an easy life but many of my friends have had deal with sorrow upon sorrow.
I visited one of the sweetest ladies I know on Wednesday and she has stood at the grave side of three children: not one, not two but three and has a sweet spirit and wonderful attitude in spite of the sorrow.
I have a cousin who can’t remember a healthy family. His father had rheumatoid arthritis and sugar diabetes. His oldest brother had MS, his only sister had a rare disease that I can’t spell. His mother had a bad heart and his baby brother was a chronic diabetic, two insulin shots per day since he was 10 years old. His dad and older brother died in their 50’s, his mom, sister and baby brother died in their 60’s. At age 70, he has outlived everyone in his family by three years. No one else got past 67.
I am sick of cancer, diabetes, heart disease and all the other forms of illness that bring pain and sorrow to families. Do I have perfect peace in this world? NO! I see hurting people almost every day of my life and I am looking forward to going home, my real home where we will experience infinite joy, peach and love–with no sorrow, sickness or death.
- Another great THANKSGIVING service. I loves things that are simple and we had a service in which our children could participate. When Braden Bass grabs the mic, I thought, “There is no telling what he is going to say,” but the little fellow was clear, articulate and right on the money. If his dad had been there, he would swelled up like an old dead dog. Renee was so moved, she could not say a word. Granny T came with Sue and when it came her time she said, “I am thankful for Teddy.” Just kidding, she said, “I am thankful for Sue.” Sue is so high on Granny’s list that she can be the center of a family photo. They still make Adam stand on the edge in case he needs to be cropped out someday. Granny would have sung for us but June could not find the sheet music. We’ve booked her for next year.
- Gary Garner had his final chemo on Wednesday, we pray.
- Dropped in to see David and Kay: David is doing well but also being careful to follow the doctor’s orders. He may get out Sunday if everything falls into place.
- Also stopped by to see Mrs. Jewel Roberts who has not been out in 5 weeks but she may get to come Sunday weather permitting.
- Folks, I had a great THANKSGIVING. I am thankful for a lot but at 1120 Ironman, Big Mama is the MVP. I didn’t mention that at church or with the family but we all depend on Big Mama and she does a terrific job taking care of the family. I am very blessed! All Bailey’s have sinned and come short of the perfection we see in Jesus but all things considered, I am very proud of my children and grand children. I hope you had a good day also.
Still Room For More
September 26, 2015
SCRIPTURE
When the servant returned, he said, “Master, I’ve done what you told me, and there is still plenty of room for more people.”
~Luke 14:22, CEV
QUOTE
God is infinite is wisdom, power, dominion, resources and attributes.
~Ya’akov
We have all been in situations where there was not enough room. Most of us have stood outside restaurants waiting because their were no empty tables. Some times airlines over book a flight and their are no seats available. Joe David has a set number that he can take to Guatemala because the mission house in Guatemala has a capacity. God has no such limitations. There is a zero chance that He will run out of room in heaven.
The loving Father in Luke 15 had plenty of room in the house for the elder brother. He didn’t go in because he refused to repent. He would not agree to his fathers conditions. His refusal to repent and his stubborn pride kept him outside but there was no lack of space on the inside. The father pleaded with him to go in but he never used force. He could have used force, he had the man power, they could have carried the angry brother inside with him kicking and screaming but he would have ruined the party.
There is plenty of room in heaven for all who want to go but no one will be forced to go against their will. Don’t misunderstand, it is not purely a matter of human will: the Father has to speak to us and we have to change the way we think [repent].
- Our schedule has been very full lately but June and I made time yesterday to go see WAR ROOM. It was a slow starter for me but wow, what a powerful ending. You have to make plans to see this movie. Don’t put it off, don’t delay. The devil will do anything he can to keep you away. This is the most politically incorrect movie I have seen in years, possibly ever, JESUS is exalted over and over as LORD, Savior and the only way. The devil gets called out. You have to see it. This movie has been going strong for a month and Unholywood is baffled. Go see the Movie.
- I think it was at Suzanne’s Bible Study on Monday that one of the ladies told me about all the FAITH based movies that are following WAR ROOM, there is one in October, November and one on the Resurrection in January that I really want to see.
- Gary Garner is making progress everyday. He is anxious to get home and I don’t blame him. He needs to get to where he can walk without help so keep praying for him.
- Kane and Michelle moved to the Ronald McDonald House today. Michelle is thrilled. I talked with Craig at the game. The SPORTS ILLUSTRATED are out. There is a video on Michelle’s Facebook page. I think Craig was going up after the game.
- SUNDAY SCHEDULE is a little different: Deacon’s meeting at 7:45, Biscuits and donuts at 9:00, LCBS at 9:15 and worship at 10:15 and 6:15.
Walking By Faith
July 18, 2015
SCRIPTURE
For we live by believing and not by seeing.
~2 Corinthians 5:7, NLT
QUOTE
Faith is to believe what we do not see, and the reward of this faith is to see what we believe.
~Augustine
Paul said, “We live by faith, not sight.” The Gnostics pretended to relate to God on the basis of knowledge but this is contrary to what the scriptures teach. Hebrews 11:6 reads, “It is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him.” Faith is not a new way, it is the only way. Abraham was saved by faith just like you and I. He looked forward in faith to Calvary and we look back in faith. In this life, we rely on faith and hope; you cannot possibly please Christ or follow Him without these two. Without faith we lose our confidence and assurance; without hope we give way to despair. Make no mistake my friend, we desperately need them now but in heaven our faith and hope gives way to sight.
- I have some GOOD NEWS: Gary Garner was much better yesterday. He has been able to eat for last two days but still no explanation for what is going on. Bufford made a profession of faith since my first visit. I don’t know when but the last time I tried to lead him in a sinners prayer, he said, “I’ve done it already” and wow what a change. Yesterday he told me that if he gets able, he is coming to Danville to be baptized. What about that folks! Third: we got our new van yesterday just in time for the youth to go to camp. It is unbelievable! You just look at it today: it is nice. God is good!
- Count Down to Alaska–2 days. June has been packing for a week and I bought me a new cap for the trip today.
- Regular Schedule Sunday beginning with Deacon’s Meeting at 8:30.
- TRUSTEES will decide Sunday about parking lot and we are probably going to annual contract on lawn and shrubs.
- I was hoping to have some plans for the play ground before we left but it may be after we get back, I am running out of time.
- Mother would have been 100 hundred today.
Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled
July 13, 2015
SCRIPTURE
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
~John 14:27, NKJV
QUOTE
I am still in the land of the dying; soon I will be in the land of the living.
~John Newton [last words]
Affliction quickens us to prayer. Experience testifies that a long course of ease and prosperity, without pain or persecution, has a tendency to make us cold and formal in our worship and slothful in our service. Troubles rouse our spirit and constrain us to call on the LORD in earnest–when we need that kind of help that can only come from the Almighty. Afflictions are useful, and in a degree necessary, to keep alive in us–a firm conviction of the vanity and imperfection of this current world and to remind us that this world is not our home. Sorrows call our thoughts upward where our true treasure lies and where our heart longs to be. [Copied almost word for word from John Newton]
- Good day, lots of liberty to preach, much to be thankful for!
- I am really tired and probably will not research the issue brought to our attention last night. I think Rebecca did some research when she got home and found out the Zondervan is owned by HARPER COLLINS PUBLISHING. It is my understanding that they publish everything, even Satanic bibles. We will try to get the facts ASAP.
- Kane was at church yesterday morning; it was good to see him. Don’t stop praying for Kane, Keri and Gary.
- Can you identify the flag below?
It is the BATTLE FLAG of the Army of Northern Virginia
HEAVEN
March 20, 2015
SCRIPTURE
We’ve been given a glimpse of the real thing, our true home, our resurrection bodies! The Spirit of God whets our appetite by giving us a taste of what’s ahead. He puts a little of heaven in our hearts so that we’ll never settle for less.
~2 Corinthians 5:4-5, MSG
QUOTE
Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal.
~Thomas Moore
God’s presence fully manifested, no sin, no temptation, no Satan, no sorrow, no death, no guilt and no anxiety. Wow, I can only imagine! William Franklin Graham says, “Heaven will be the perfection we have always longed for. All the things that made earth and unlovely place will be absent in heaven.” The late great Dr. Vance Havner said, “The fruit trees of heaven bend over the walls; if you’ll look up, you can pick a little fruit now.” The gift of the Spirit is a foretaste of glory divine and so is worship. I agree with both: it is great to have heaven to look forward to and what a blessing to get a foretaste here on earth. Dallas Willard’s last words to his grand daughter were: He said, “Give’m heaven.”
- TODAY WE PRAY FOR FAMILY.
- Senior Adult luncheon today and I hope I get to be there: down in my back.
- No deacon’s meeting Sunday.
- Don’t forget our Brownie Blitz Sunday Evening.
Give Them Heaven
January 9, 2015
SCRIPTURE
But they {Abraham and Sarah} were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.
~Hebrews 11:16, NLT
QUOTE
Heaven is not a better place, it is the best place.
~ Timothy Ray Keenum
Dallas Willard, the late great USC professor and author’s parting words to his granddaughter were, “Honey, give them heaven.” I don’t know what heaven will be like but I think C.S. Lewis is as close as any: it will be an eternity of going deeper and further as we get to know our infinite Savior. Here on earth, our good days are too short and are bad days or too long but there are no bad days in heaven. No tears, no death, no sorrow, no sin, no temptation, no pressure, no IRS or EPA; no long painful nights just one endless joyous day. No more goodbyes just one eternal hello.
The bible refers to Abraham as our Father in the faith for good reasons. Abraham understood clearly what most see vaguely, we are sojourners, strangers, pilgrims passing through. This world is not our home. Abraham lived in time but was focused on eternity. He was content to live in a tent because he believed in a city made by God. What do you believe in? What matters most to you?
- Today we pray for FAMILY.
- Had a good visit with Kenny yesterday but he is still in discomfort but he did feel like talking for a bit. It is a visit that I would not take anything for. I consider Kenny a dear friend.
- Speaking of friends: how amazing! June called all the kids last night to tell them to leave their water dripping and she forgot to leave ours dripping and it froze. It did not unthaw until I got home and of course, I go to the road and cut it off. I wanted a shower so bad because I usually crash on Thursday. She said, “Call Gregg!” I said, “I am not calling Gregg tonight. This same thing has happened to 50 families and they are not going to be able to fix this water tonight.” So she was intimidated and dropped the subject: yeah, right! As Mylee would say, “Seriously!” She said, “You could call and get in line.” I said, “If he is in my phone, I will call, otherwise, I am not calling him tonight” [4:45]. Gregg was in my phone and I called and got a voice mail so I left a brief message. I sit down with Chloe Bug and in less than 10 minutes someone is at the door. Ten minutes later we have water. They have this new blue pipe that works like magic. The man looked at me and said, “I don’t know you but evidently you are a very good friend of Greggs.” Hey, I just talked about friends last night. Thank you Jesus for friends like Gregg. I walked in the house and you know who said, “I told you to call tonight, didn’t I? See there we have water because…” that’s where I chimed is and said, “…Because you kept nagging.” {She says now, that she’s going to write a blog. Don’t worry she never reads them twice}
- The high inside the office yesterday was 62*. Shohn never removed her coat and cap.
- GOLDEN GIRLS HAS BEEN CANCELED…Too cold for them, just right for me!
- I’m disgusted with network TV. I stopped watching Blue Blood because they were promoting homosexuality which means I was down to one show a week, PERSON OF INTEREST. I thought I liked the two women on the show but last night they kissed each other on the mouth. Made me sick! So I guess I am down to no shows.
