Scripture
Sometimes it takes a painful experience to make us change our ways.
~Proverbs 20:30, GNT
Quote
There is only one thing more painful than learning by experience and that is not learning by experience.
~Archibald McLeish
My life documents the truth of today’s verse. Some people learn from instruction but others like myself have to find out the hard way. Once up on a time, I wanted a big house. My daddy told me that I didn’t need a big; to stay where I was until my kids got grown and then build a little house. I learned the hard way, with the big house comes a big payment and a lot of upkeep. This is just one example: there are a dozen more but I had rather not talk about them. I think the verse speaks for itself.
- The Dogwood Winter has decided to stay awhile. It is not hot in the day time and it is very cool at night. Does help on utility bill.
- Day three of Phase-One went very well and God has answered yet another prayer concerning Phase-Two. We transfer Hope Monday.
- I have a wedding today and will be attending a COLS Lord willing.

NEW YORK – JUNE 25: Franklin Graham, with Bible in hand, addresses the crowd before his father Billy Graham speaks during his Crusade at Flushing Meadows Corona Park June 25, 2005 in the Queens borough of New York. Flushing Meadows Corona Park is the site for Graham’s sermons on June 24-26, which looks to draw thousands of people from across the country, and will purportedly be the aging Christian evangelist’s final crusade.
