Scripture

Everything was created through {Jesus} Him and for {Jesus} Him. He {Jesus} existed before anything else, and He {Jesus} holds all creation together.

~Colossians 1:16-17

Quote

If everything revolves around you then everything depends on you.

Jesus is the cosmic glue of the universe, He holds all things together. Everything in existence depends on Christ. Jesus is the center, everything revolves around HIM. Just as the sun is the center of our solar system, so Jesus is the center of all creation.

Nicholas Copernicus was an amazing man. He could speak multiply languages with ease and was recognized as a professional is many fields: He was a Physician, Astronomer, Mathematician, Politician {served as a Governor}, economist, translator, and diplomat. In contrast to Luther, Nicholas Copernicus was not one to make bold, public statements; instead he spent his life in relative quiet, hesitant to publish his revolutionary views until his very last days. And yet Copernicus, as much as Luther, revolutionized how Europeans thought of themselves, their world, and their God.

Until Copernicus discovered the truth, man thought that everything revolved around earth; metaphorically that would mean revolving around man himself. Usually, not always, we have a “Copernican Moment,” which is the moment we come to realize that the world doesn’t revolve around us. Our grand daughter Chloe has not had that moment but there are Senior Adults that have not had that moment. The sooner you realize that Jesus is the center, the better off you will be.

  • Sir Thomas {Bennich} got to come home so he could get him a Willie Burger. He is supposed to be on a healthy heart diet and I am fairly certain that Willie Burgers is not a part of that diet.
  • My Nephew Heath is better. The difference between yesterday and today was like night and day. Thank YOU Jesus and thank you friends for praying.
  • It’s been a hectic week and I haven’t made all my rounds but maybe I will finish today. Beautiful weather, I love it.
  • Joe David is in North Carolina and today he spent some time with Will Graham, Dr. William Franklin Graham’s grandson. Tried to upload pic but didn’t work: it is on my Facebook page.
