SCRIPTURE

I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.
~Matthew 25:43, NASB

QUOTE

The last 12 months have been the most dangerous for Christians in the 25 years that we have been tracking persecution.

We in the West consider anyone in prison a criminal but there are many Christians on the other side of the world that are in prison because they affirm faith in Christ. Islamic forces recently seized Mosul and began executing Christians. The Northern part of Iraq is occupied by the Kurds and the Babylonians. You know about the 21 Coptic and 30 Ethiopian Christians executed by ISIS. In Kenya, armed al-Shabab gunmen linked to al-Qaida murdered 148 Christian college students because they would not deny their faith in Christ. Trying to get from Libya to Italy, 115 Libyans were crossing the Mediterranean when they discovered 12 Christians on boat: the Muslims aboard the craft threw them into the sea. More persecution has broke out in Nigeria which was considered a Christian Nation thirty years ago. Twenty four Christians were murdered for attending worship services.

Do you know the difference between radical Islam and Islam: The radicals bomb, kill and butcher while the so called peaceful Muslims give them their support. Does our State department not know what is going on in the Eastern hemisphere? Yes, they know but Obama is not interested in defending Christians.
What can we do? You could subscribe to DECISION MAGAZINE or VOICE OF THE MARTYRS. You can pray. You can put pressure on congressmen to do what is right. America could stop a lot of this if they had the will to do it. Recently, the Obama administration negotiated with the Iranians about nuclear weapons while an American citizen was in an Iranian prison because he was accused of spreading the gospel.
For the record: the cultural war being waged is not against religion; it is against Christianity and Christianity alone.
