We humans are like the old spring loaded watches, sometimes we run down. Even Jesus needed to take a break for rest and relaxation. When your creative juices stop flowing and you get irritable with those around you, these are signs you need to take a break. I heard Jack Taylor say once, “Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is take a nap.”

• Today we pray for those facing trials.
• Good turn out last night on Crazy Hair night. I think AWANA had 84. We are down to two weeks of AWANA and Chick-Fil-A suppers.
• We are going to have three offering this Sunday: one will be dollar offering. I’ll tell you what it is for Sunday. It’s one dollar per person, not per family.
• Well, I am praising the LORD; yesterday was my first full day back and I made it fine. I had to take two or three breaks but after getting home and getting a hot shower, I felt pretty good. Dr. Black wants me to finish the steroids and then go to Celebrex. Hey, I am just tickled to be able to sit under a desk and walk. Actually, I made 5,300 steps yesterday which is the most since the injury.
