celebrate Jesus Son of God

Come and see what the Lord has done. See what amazing things he has done on earth.

~Psalms 46:8

There is a God created vacuum in the heart of every mean which can only be filled with Jesus.

Jesus was the Bread of Life yet He began His ministry hungering. He was the Living Water yet He died thirsting. As a man, He was hungry; as God, He feed the multitudes. He was a man of sorrows yet He was the giver of great joy. He was weary yet He is our rest. He paid tribute yet He was a King. He prayed and yet He hears our prayers. He was the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world yet He is our Good Shepherd. He was the son of man yet He was the Son of God. He was pure, spotless and without blemish yet He became sin. He is the Sovereign LORD of all creation yet He became a man so that He could pay for our sins. Hallelujah, what a Savior!

  • It is cool here on the mountain top: from here we can see the smoke from a thousand cabins. There are cabins everywhere. Good news is it’s beautiful and spacious: Bad news is we are nowhere near a MacDonalds or Krispi-Kreme.
  • There will be a lot of mistakes on the blogs because it is so difficult to get on line and get things pulled up that I am going to post with the first draft. You edit it yourself. Jason says Big Mama is making a lot of mistakes proofing as it is and I can’t tell you what Big Mama said about Jason.
  • I hope you have a great Spring Break and don’t be shocked if I miss a blog or two.
  • We had visitors here on the Mountain Top: Michael, Wendy, Grant and Max came by for a visit: they are staying in nearby Gatlinburg.
