And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.

~Psalm 39:7

A world without Christmas would be hell.

~ Yaakov

Few things if any are as difficult to deal with as despair if you understand that despair is the complete loss or absence of hope. If you can destroy a man’s hope, you have his life for our life is bound up in our ability to hope. Christ was born into a world of despair: He brought hope to a dark and desperate planet. As our idiotic liberal antagonist continue to wage war on Christmas, they need only stop and think, “What would this world be like without it?” We have all this clamor about God allowing everyone into heaven but how can people who despise Jesus here on earth be happy in a heaven where Jesus is the center of everything? Some folks have this wild idea that  physical death is going to fix everything: listen friend, if you don’t love Jesus right now, dying is not going to help you. You need to begin practice for heaven. You could start with Christmas.

A lot of Birthdays yesterday: Mrs. Jewel was 93, Ryder was 7 and Josie and Ty were 6. Grandkids grow up faster than kids. As I started out the door yesterday morning, I grabbed my heavy coat, June said, “You aren’t going to need that today, it is not that cold.” No, just 28 degrees. I don’t think I took the coat off until noon. It looked like Switzerland here Wednesday morning and felt like Siberia yesterday morning. I’m planning on staying inside and reading until it warms up today.
