Political Correctness May Well Be Our Demise

COMMENTARY: The liberal quest for equality and political correctness may well be our demise. People should be treated fairly but there is no such thing as human equality. Some men are stronger than others and some are more intelligent. When we clamor for rights, we reveal our inferiority. A beautiful woman does say to an unattractive woman, “Hey, I am prettier than you.”  A genius does not say to a dunce “I am more intelligent than you.” Thomas Jefferson would not walk up to Bill Clinton and say, “You know what Slick, you are inferror to me.” The obvious does not need to be stated. The same is true in the moral realm: some people are better than others. We are all sinners and all in need of grace but some men display courage, nobility and honor. I think General George Washington would be a great example of those virtues. On the other hand, all men are not noble or courageous; some are cowards, liars and thieves. Should we treat the criminal the same way we do the virtuous man? If that be the case, why do we have prisons? The scripture teaches that homosexuality is a perversion. There is not one verse in the bible that condones homosexuality. Robert Jeffress, Pastor of First Baptist Dallas has not uttered a word of hate speech. He simply stated the truth that homosexuals prey on little boys and that is the primary reason the BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA will not allow homosexuals into their ranks. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that such indecent behavior will destroy not only the body but the soul and the mind.

Perhaps I don’t have all the evidence but in the videos I viewed: Pastor Jeffress was biblically correct and very kind. I saw no hate or malice; certainly nothing compared to Jeremiah Wright. I like Tim Tebow and I am still a fan but I think he caved on this one. The sad thing is that our POLITICALLY CORRECT CRAZED CULTURE lead by the lame stream left-wing media forced Tim to make a choice between his conviction and his desire to play professional football. Had he not yielded to the incredible pressure: they would have destroyed him. The real disturbing thing is that SPORTS TALK SHOW host and former athletes have piled on. I have not heard one Sports Analyst defend Pastor Jeffress including some that I have heard speak of their love for Christ. Like Tebow, they felt the pressure and they caved. When a culture idolizes a pedafile like Michael Jackson and on the other hand persecutes [dog the steps] a kid like Tebow, it does that say much for the culture. We know the truth but we lack the courage to speak it. We are not going to hear it from the media and may the LORD have mercy on us if we don’t hear it from the pulpit.

Let’s Pray For Tim: He is under a lot of pressure.

I think that there is a possiblity that Michelle might get moved today. Note: that is a possibility, it is not cut and dried so keep praying. Wanda Yarbrough [Cindy’s Mom] was much better yesterday morning and Janette Turner [Darlene’s Mom] was still critical. Troy MacAbee’s Mom who was in a single car accident will have to wear a back brace but no surgery required at this point.
